Many families dream of having a swimming pool, a private oasis of fun and frolic, where your backyard is transformed into a rea- son to stay home. Having a pool changes the way you use your property, adding excitement, peace and beauty all in one.

Blue Haven is a custom builder of residential and commercial pools, covering everything from new builds to renovations, remodels to refurbishments. They use the latest swimming pool construction techniques—including automation and lighting—to  create permanent concrete in- ground pools of almost any shape.“There is a ‘wow’ factor with a pool and the areas that surround  it,” says DiCesare. These can include recreational sundecks, outdoor kitchens, fire and water features and much more.   

Some of the items Blue Haven uses to create cleaner, healthier pools include their exclusive SmartFeatures™ series. SmartSaver™ can lower utility bills as much as 75 percent as its microprocessor-controlled unit works in conjunction with a variable speed pump motor to manage the operation of the cleaning and filtration  systems. The SmartFlow™ Jet System helps automatic, roving pool cleaners to achieve excellent results faster. SmartFilter™ resists attacks from mold, mildew, bacteria and more. The SmartPure® UV/Ozone filter uses a natural process called “ozonation” to drastically cut chlorine levels needed in your pool. SmartBrite® accentuates your pool’s interior with a slip-resistant, longlasting  surface smooth to your family’s feet, made with a select blend of ceramic quartz aggregate.

To create the best pool for you, Blue Haven uses all these items and more. But even more important than these state-of-the-art items is their desire to listen to exactly what the client wants and making their ideas the centerpiece of the project. “We do everything to make this a carefree experience,” says DiCesare. “It’s all about what your budget allows. We do our homework, so we know about town permits, storm water management, impervious lot coverage. And we advise customers about everything,” he says. They know an educated client is what is needed to make the process positive for everyone.

With a build time that can vary from six to 10 weeks and a permit process/engineering needs that could add four to eight more, having a company that can navigate these needs is crucial. “We inform the client on everything, so they know what we know. It’s important to us to give the  customer all the attention. The customer guides the process. This is based on what you want, not what we want for you,” he explains.
