Keystone Outdoor Living - Wellness in Your Own Backyard

While first becoming well-known as Keystone Custom Decks for the creation of their excellent decks, the company also offers a range of stylish and unique outdoor features, from pools, and patios to outdoor kitchens, private spas and more.
It was because of this range of offerings that the company decided to rebrand to Keystone Outdoor Living, better reflecting the wide-ranging services they provide.
"While decks remain a core part of what we do, our projects have evolved into complete outdoor environments," says Marcus Stoltzfus, Keystone's marketing director.
Most recently, the company has expanded their offerings to their new line of wellness products, including saunas, cold plunges, hot tubs, spas, pool houses, fitness spaces and home gyms. These products give Keystone's customers a taste of luxury and wellness whenever they want and without having to leave their own property.
"We wanted to be a little bit more well-rounded in the backyard and offer wellness products that our clients would appreciate. For many of our clients, they like the privacy of being at home, and so they can bypass getting gym or wellness memberships and just have those products in their backyard," says Stoltzfus.
These products are available both on their own with installation and as part of larger projects like decks, patios and other major outdoor structures and features.
"You can purchase a sauna, you can purchase a cold plunge, and we'll come and do the install of the product by itself. But obviously if we are already out there, our team will come and install these wellness products as well," says Stoltzfus.
These products are high-quality and include saunas from Stoltzfus Structures, cold plunges from Wellis, and Bullfrog Spas hot tubs, the latter of which the company has offered for about three years.
"We can be really intentional with creating spaces in the backyard that folks can go to escape and relax. So the expansion into this category is adding to that line of products," says Stoltzfus.
Dedication to quality comes from the top down, ensuring that everyone on the Keystone team is committed to the company's mission.
By creating a team where installation of all parts of the outdoor space can be handled in house, Keystone creates a uniquely streamlined process that creates less stress for the client and allows for time to be focused on creating outdoor areas that are aesthetically appealing, well built and functional.
"One of the nice things we can provide is when we come in, even if it's in stages, we have everything in-house to do all that so they're really only dealing with one point of contact," Stoltzfus points out.
Keystone operates in Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee and Florida, but no matter where they are, the team remains singularly focused on ensuring that their world-class quality of both construction and customer service never wavers.
"We've also continued to strengthen our processes to support scale without sacrificing quality. The demand for high-quality outdoor living spaces remains strong, and we've positioned ourselves to meet that demand," says Stoltzfus.
The growth beyond the area does not mean Keystone has lost touch with its Pennsylvania roots, sponsoring the Philadelphia Union, Penn State University athletics and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
"We chose those partnerships very intentionally. Each organization represents community pride, excellence, and a strong regional following—values that align closely with Keystone," says Stoltzfus. "Sponsorship for us isn't just about visibility; it's about supporting institutions that bring people together and investing back into the communities where our customers live, work and cheer."
Over the last year the company has reached over 800 Google Reviews and earned themselves a five-star rating.
"You don't reach that volume of positive feedback unless you're delivering a strong experience over and over again—across design, communication, craftsmanship and follow-through. Those reviews reflect our team's commitment to doing things the right way and standing behind our work. For prospective customers, they offer real proof from real homeowners that Keystone delivers on its promises," says Stoltzfus.
As Stoltzfus notes, even though Keystone is rarely the cheapest option among its competitors, clients routinely comment on how it was clearly the best choice with detailed reviews itemizing all the reasons they would highly recommend Keystone Outdoor Living.
"Quality and transparency come first—always," he explains. "We're focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience from the first conversation to the last day that our crew leaves the job site. That means clear communication, realistic timelines, expert design and craftsmanship we're proud to put our name on. As we grow, our priority remains the same: Treat every project like it's being built for our own home."
